I have proven records of students under me since i started teaching that initially they failed but under me they all gotten A1s. I have a Maths Minor. Have also taught Maths for Tuition for more than 10 years. My tutees all have shown improvement under my care.

I am now teaching in Learning Museum tuition centre, previously in Just Maths Education centre. Taught in Shuqun Sec, Pathlight sch, Xinmin Pri school. My students will get to be familiar with different types of problem solving strategies so as to build up their confidence in solving word problems. My teaching involves building up their foundation skills, understanding the concepts and to apply them in solving questions so as to prepare them for exams. I have Grade A for maths and have more than 15 years of experience. Currently coaching around 10 students. I'm also teaching in tuition centres as well. Some of my students improved by 5 to 40 marks in their SA2 exams : 1) A student from Radin Mas scored As in her prelim and psle 2020. Previously she had borderline passes in her p5 SA1. 2) A student from ACS Barker failed his P4 SA1 Maths but scored A in his SA2 Maths. 3) Another P4 student of mine from Radin Mas Primary School failed P3 Maths but showed 100% improvement during his weighed assessment at the end of the year 2021, this was a feedback from his mother. 4) I have taught Maths and Science to a boy from Zhangde Primary School since he was in P4. He scored A for Science in his psle 2020 and this year 2021, he scored both As in Maths and Science in his Secondary 1 final year exam. 5) In 2022, a P4 girl from CHIJ Kellock scored 66% in her Maths SA2. Previously she scored 35% in her SA1. Another girl from the same school scored 72% in her SA2, previously scored 64% in her SA1. 6) A student from Queenstown Primary School improved by 14 marks in her P4 SA2 Maths Exam in 2022. I can provide material and I have online teaching experience using zoom which allows annotation and a visualiser for a live teaching.

Current MOE teacher in Anderson sec school teaching Maths. Previous year I also taught Physics to upper secondary classes CS1 math and CS2 physics. 4 years sch teaching exp. 7 years tutoring exp. I have 7 years experience in tutoring sec3 and sec 4 in E/A Math, Physics, Chemistry and lower sec maths/ sci. Currently tutoring students Sec 1,2,3 and 4 in E/A maths, Physics, Chemistry, JC H2 physics, H2 maths. I have tutored students for IB physics/ maths/ HL maths, IGCSE maths and chemistry, primary maths and science previously. Past students have include students from various neighboring schools, RVH, RI, RJC, CJC, YJC, crescent girls, st marg. student include those from express and NA level as well. I am able to modify teaching methods to suit the profile of the students. I do not encourage memorisation. Instead I would rather the student understand the fundamental concepts of the theory (for sciences and even mathematics) so that they understand the workings that they perform. I often do this by leading the student through the problem solving process by questioning and giving parallel analogies. I am committed at ensuring that the students understand what they learn and am strict during lessons. I sometimes allow the students to complete questions wrongly first to gauge where their misconception lies so that I could highlight their mistakes (In turn they are aware of the possibilities of such mistakes) and this also help me to identify where exactly the student might not have fully understand the concepts and address the issue accordingly. Understanding links between the different chapters and concepts will allow students to better remember the concepts. Secondary level: 5 years tutoring Sec 1-4 level in maths, Science, Physics, Chemistry, E/A maths. IP level: JC1 IP students from RVHS and RI. JC level: Tutored JC H2 maths and physics for 2 years. IB/IGCSE level: SL and HL maths for UWC student, IB Physics from ACSi, and IGCSE Chem and Maths for another private student.
